To Err Is Human; To Forgive, Divine

Mistakes are in our human nature. Whether it is us that makes it or someone else that makes it, it happens. What do we do when a mistake is made and forgiveness is the next step? Where do we turn? What do we do? Or the even harder question, what do we when we must forgive ourself?
